Upgraid Entertainment is a small group of student visionaries founded at the University of Southern California. With Upgraid, we strive to connect people through music and entertainment toward a better tomorrow and hope to encourage others to do the same.

JOHANNAH CHUNG

Johannah is a multi-faceted individual that has demonstrated exceptional skills in music, creativity, and leadership. She has been in various different types of ensembles as a well-rounded student and percussionist- including Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Drumline, Chamber Ensembles, songwriting groups, and collegiate choir. She started her journey with music in middle school, and continues to be dedicated to her artistic commitments throughout college. However, she owes most of her growth and success to all of the amazing coaches, mentors, and music directors that she has had the blessing to have. With a grateful and hopeful heart, Johannah is now striving to deepen her music composition and production skills as an amateur content creator, while fully utilizing everything she has learned in her fruitful and educative musical background.

SIMONE FONG

 Simone Fong is a current Economics major Music industry minor at USC. Growing up all over California has allowed her to develop a unique perspective on living and working in the entertainment capital of the US.

At her core, Simone wants to create unforgettable experiences that allow audience to leave with cherished memories. She’s begun her professional journey working for the recently funded feminist music start up Gritty in Pink and working with the CEO and clients of Amplify Lab, an HR consulting firm revolutionizing the corporate workplace.

AMANDA HAN

Amanda Han is a current junior at USC, majoring in the Music Industry. She is well-experienced in both the performance and the production side of concerts. Amanda has won several international piano competitions and has performed in Asia, Europe, and North America. She has recently collaborated with Changsha Symphony Orchestra and the Prima Vista Quartet.

While being active on stage, Amanda has begun working on the production side of live events and TV shows. Her most recent work experience includes working as the assistant to the program director for Beijing Music Festival and being part of the production team of a TV program of China Global Television Network.

QUEENIE QUAN

Queenie Quan is a current third year Business Administration major with a Music Industry minor at USC. She is a creative individual who excels in forward thinking in marketing and design. Having grown up in Southern California, a major hub for all things entertainment and music, she found a passion in creating memorable experiences for others. She aims to work in the music industry in hopes to help bridge music culture between the east and west creating experiences that last a lifetime. Queenie’s past experiences include interning in PR/Marketing and launching a small business for fans just like herself for self designed and created merchandise inspired by music artists we love.

ALEYNA YIM

Aleyna Yim is a singer-songwriter and top-liner from Los Angeles and is currently a Music Industry senior at USC. In 2016, Aleyna was a contestant on K-pop Star 6: The Last Chance and was later scouted by YG Entertainment. Staying in L.A. to pursue her music career independently instead, she made her debut in 2017 with "Video Game" and "Breaking News", which both peaked on Spotify at over 500,000+ streams . She later placed first at South Bay's Got Talent and was a finalist in the World Championships of Performing Arts. Aleyna has been pitching songs to K-pop artists since 2018 and occasionally streams on Twitch. Though she took a break from her own music to focus on school and work, Aleyna hopes to combine her love for music and streaming to create great experiences and opportunities for others.
